Italico restaurante is the more upscale sister restaurant of Terún. It is get crowded very fast and the service is prompt. The pizza that we ordered were deceivingly simple but delicious. I strongly recommend ordering Casio E Pepe to share. The Pollo Millanese was cooked just right (crunchy outside and soft inside). Furthermore, it has great selection of wine to choose, we ordered Bocca Della Verita Primitivo which was very good. We ended our dinner with chocolate gelato, strawberry Panna Cotta and espresso from cafe Vergnano brand. Overall I enjoyed the total experience.

We went here with some friends. They have an extensive wine menu. We were able to get a good Tuscan wine. I enjoyed my pasta with white truffle. The husband had the salmon which was blend, not much flavor. We also had the brussel sprouts and the calamari as appetizers, which were yum. I guess they can work up the flavor in their fish dish to make it palatable. The service was great.

Great Italian food. We started with the pulpo appetizer -- I'm not normally a fan of octopus since I always assume it'll be chewy, but I was amazed at how tender and flavorful it was! For the entree, I got the Nduja pizza, with spicy spreadable salami and zucchini -- delicious, and that salami had a nice kick to it. Service was excellent, and there's a lot of pleasant outdoor dining (as well as a semi-enclosed terrace that is essentially outdoors). Good choice for a night out!

It used to have the best Italian food (not the American kind) in the Bay Area, but the most recent visit was a little disappointing. While the appetizers and pizza are still amazing, two entrees were basically cold and steak was strange, almost like they tried too hard to mimic Florentina style but with the wrong kind of beef. Still a very good place to enjoy an evening!

Modern ambience, excellent decor, rather crowded and noisy. Fast, efficient service. Pizza was decent, Neapolitan style (though not VPN certified member). Brussels sprouts also decent. Both just lacked full flavor. Will stick to VPN when in the mood for Neapolitan pizza. Seems more consistent.

The foods are well prepared and authentic, the waiter and waitress are friendly and available all the time, the seating area is standard and comfortable, and the menu varieties are good.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Definitely make a point of coming here on every trip to Palo Alto, along with their sister restaurant Terun, across the street. Extensive wine list - the best by the glass list I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. All the pastas and pizzas are just divine. Dessert is lovely too.

Solid Italian which the bay area lacks and something I miss from the east coast. Charming staff, good wine selection, gnocchi was fantastic, and the tiramisu was well rounded. The atmosphere was chic modern so not like the cozy feel you'd get in NYC. Definitely worth a pop in. It'd be my go to pizza place if I was closer.
